If you’re wondering where to find the list of accounts you follow on TikTok, the answer is simple – there is no dedicated “following” page on TikTok. However, there are a couple of easy ways to see who you currently follow on the platform.
Viewing who you follow on your profile
The quickest way to see the accounts you follow on TikTok is by going to your own profile page. To get to your profile, tap the “Me” tab on the bottom right of the app. This will open up your profile page.
On your profile, tap on the number next to “Following” near the top of the screen. This number shows how many accounts you currently follow. Tapping it will open up a list of all the accounts you follow on TikTok in alphabetical order.
Scroll down this list to see all of the creators, friends, brands, and other accounts you follow. Their profile pictures and usernames will be shown. You can tap on any account in this list to open up their profile page.
This is the simplest way to get an overview of everyone you follow in one scrollable list. Keep in mind that only a limited number of accounts are shown per page, so make sure to scroll down to see all of your follows if you have a lot of them.
Checking Following notifications
Another easy way to see who you’re following on TikTok is by going to your Following notification feed. This feed shows you whenever an account you follow posts a new video.
To get to your Following feed, tap the Inbox icon on the bottom right of the TikTok app. This will open up your Activity page. At the top of the Activity page are several tabs – tap on the one that says “Following.”
This will show your Following feed, which contains updates and new videos from all the accounts you follow, sorted chronologically. You can scroll down this feed to see snippets of the latest content from your follows.
Tapping on any notification will take you directly to that user’s posted video. The Following feed is a great way to stay updated on the newest content from the creators and accounts you care about.
Searching your Following list
You can also search for specific accounts you follow using TikTok’s search bar. To do this, tap the Discover magnifying glass icon on the bottom toolbar of the app.
In the search bar at the top, type “@following” followed by the username of the account you want to find. For example, if you want to find “@catvideos” in your Following list, search “@following catvideos.”
This will bring up “@catvideos” in the results if you currently follow them. You can use this search trick to look up any account you follow by username.
Using TikTok on a web browser
If you prefer using TikTok on a web browser, you can also find your Following list there. Simply go to the TikTok website and log into your account.
Next to your profile picture and name in the top right, click on the Down arrow icon to open a dropdown menu. Select “Following accounts” from this menu.
This will open up a sidebar that shows thumbnail icons of all the accounts you follow on TikTok. Hover over any account icon to see options like visiting their profile, unfollowing, or sharing their page.
Scrolling down the sidebar will let you browse your full Following list. You can also search for specific follows using the search bar at the top of the sidebar.
Following lists for Pro accounts
If you have a TikTok Pro account, you get access to some additional Following tools. TikTok Pro users can sort the accounts they follow into customizable lists.
To manage these lists, go to your profile and tap the Following number. In the top right, tap “Manage Following lists.”
From here you can make new lists by tapping the “+” icon. Give your list a name, like “Comedy follows” or “Friends”. You can then go through your Following list and add accounts to your new list.
This lets you categorize the accounts you follow into specific groups for easier browsing. You can view each list separately from your full Following feed.
Following Hashtags and Sounds too
Along with follower accounts, you can also follow specific hashtags and sounds on TikTok. Content tagged with your followed hashtags or using your followed sounds will show up in your For You feed.
To find hashtags and sounds you have followed, go to your profile and tap on either the number next to “Following hashtags” or “Following sounds.”
This will bring up a list of the hashtags or sounds you currently follow. Unfollowing them will remove them from your For You feed recommendations.
